Revenue-Increasing Workshops
Workshops where your company's manager or organization's members can learn to sell the way their customers want to buy.
I teach company owners and managers how to stop "selling" and start making it easy for their customers to buy. I can talk about all aspects of the customer's buying process. The concepts revealed in my presentations forever change the way managers view the marketing and selling process; they understand what they have to do to better support the customer's buying process.
In a typical workshop, first I set the stage with the basic "sell the way they want to buy" concepts:
- Understanding the customer's buying process
- How to support the customer's buying process
- The tools you should use
- When/how you should use those tools for maximum revenue growth
Then, the workshop shifts to an interactive discussion, where we start to apply these concepts to the attendees' specific situation. I can provide solutions to the toughest marketing and selling challenges. I am one of the few marketing and selling gurus who can speak - from first-hand, current personal experience - on all aspects of marketing and selling. I can explain what is working now and what isn't.
I can answer questions and recommend solutions for:
- Online marketing methods, including websites, email, search engines, pay-per-click, social media, and blogs
- Offline marketing methods, including PR, advertising, direct mail, events
- Selling - on the phone, in person, via other interactive media
- Research methods
- Measurement and tracking methods
- Recruiting and management of personnel in product development, product marketing, sales, marketing, business development, and customer service
Every workshop I give is a custom workshop. Prior to the workshop, I interview workshop attendees and their customers. I will understand the specific challenges faced by the attendees. I will present a workshop that speaks directly to their needs and answers their questions, within a format that is appropriate to the group.
At the end of the workshop, every workshop attendee will have a whole new perspective on successful marketing and selling, and a to-do list of improvements that will increase their revenue.
Workshops can include:
- Formal presentation, complete with handouts
- Interactive sessions, in small groups or with the entire group, for Q&A, group problem-solving, and a session where we build a "Buying Process Roadmap" for the typical sale. This is a very powerful and satisfying portion of each workshop.
- Pre-workshop research: I will personally interview workshop attendees and their customers, and present my findings to the group
- Signed copies of my book, sent to all attendees (or distributed at the workshop), purchased in quantity at a discount or offered for individual purchase to workshop attendees
- Website reviews of attendee sites. Very popular. I have been building and improving websites since 1994.
- Reviews of other marketing and selling materials, submitted by the attendees prior to the workshop.
Attendees come to these workshop with deep, perplexing concerns and walk out with answers—and a concrete set of "next steps" that will remove frustrating barriers to higher revenues.
